Once Upon a Time……
There lived an upcycle queen. She loved to wave her magic wand to turn items into new treasures.
One day, the queen was given a toolbox to show all people in the land how to use it in a new way. The queen thought and thought about what to do. Finally, she knew exactly what to turn it into.
She waved her wand and POOF…….. it became an TOOL BOX HOT COCOA STATION!
The queen summoned items from all around the castle to help her ~
- Mason Jars
- Leftover Ribbon/Twine
- Thrifted Spoons
- Free Wallpaper
- Thrifted Towel
- Scrap Wood Sign
- Vintage Mugs
- Thrifted Christmas Tree
- Last Year’s After Christmas Sales Napkins
The villagers came from near and far to the Annual Kingdom Christmas Celebration.
Each time someone opened the drawers, magically, everything was right where they needed it……spoons and napkins and topping galore.
THE QUEEN’S TOOL BOX HOT COCOA STATION TOPPINGS
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Sauce
- Sprinkles
- Peppermints
- Powdered Sugar
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Marshmallows
- Cocoa
(Other topping ideas – white chocolate chips, flavored syrups, liqueurs, crushed toffee/candies, chocolate covered spoons, etc)
When the queen ran out of any supplies, she would wave her wand, and open up the bottom tool chest for all her extra treats.
Because the queen wanted her land to stay beautiful, she used items that wouldn’t turn to rubbish. Her vintage cups and spoons would be used for many more special events at the castle.
The queen happily watched as lords, knights, and peasants were merrily singing and dancing together through the night. She knew it was the MAGIC cocoa!
The celebration was the largest in all the kingdom and a good time was had by all.
THE END!
And don’t forget to check out this upcycle Christmas creation….

Jenny recently posted…Simple Hot Chocolate Bar for Kids
Jenny, It sure was handy having the storage below for refills.
Oh my gosh I have to show this to my mechanic son! He will die!!! And then he’ll hide his tool chests from me!!!! I love it! Pinned!
Jeanie, Better not show him so you can “borrow” one 🙂
This is one of the greatest “serving” ideas ever. It just made me laugh and everyone would be thrilled to get a drink from the toolbox. Happy New Year!
Margaret, That is so kind. Thank you so much!!! Happy New Year!
