As some of you may know, we have two teen boys, 19 and 14. And we are here to say that, FOR US, it seems much harder to find things in relation to boys.
That’s why we put this Teen Boy Gift Guide together cause…….
…..there really are great gifts outside of a video game or gift card.
Here are a few that our boys have given the nod of approval:
TEEN BOY GIFT GUIDE
Portable Speaker – What kid isn’t into music? A portable speaker is a great way for them to get the ear buds out and listen to their music with their friends…outside even! We gave two options here, a budget friendly one and a more deluxe model…….
Deluxe – Fugoo (Aprox $170.00)
Bargain – Omaker (Aprox $30.00)
Manual to Manhood – “There’s a lot a young man in the making needs to succeed as he grows up and prepares to make his way in the world. Many important skills and character traits he should acquire he might not be quick to ask how to do because, well then, people would know he doesn’t know what he is doing, just yet. ” This is a really interesting book that has anything from grilling a steak to talking to a girl (even cleaning a bathroom…it’s worth it just for that!!!) (Aprox $9.00-13.00)
Survival Bracelet – What teen boy doesn’t love adventure? Our boys do! This is 12 ft. of paracord with a survival whistle. Plus, its fashionable….yes teen boys care! (Aprox $9.00)
Fit Bit – Not just for adults. These fit bits are all the rage. They not only track your fitness but your sleep schedule as well. (Aprox $88.00)
(Caution – Don’t use this to motivate a child to fitness. Christmas is not the time to make a statement.)
Tool Set – Part of growing up in our home, is your own tool set. The boys have looked forward to a time they were old enough to have their own. This set is a great way to begin learning how to repair and build things. (Aprox $45.00)
Band Aids – Yep, you heard right. Let’s face it most boys get hurt. They rarely want to put on a band aid, but these fun stocking stuffer Ouch band aids just might end up on them after all. (Aprox $6.00)
Nike Sports Bag – This Nike Traning Gymsack is well made which is why we like it. A lot of these bags come apart after just a little use. That’s not going to work. These boys need durable. It comes in a variety of colors and has a zipper front pouch for smaller items.
Iron Man T Shirt – We like fun t-shirts around here. This one is the fun and learning (periodic table) in one right? (Aprox $19.00)
Grenade – Mark this as just cool. It’s a training grenade. Obviously, it’s not real, but it is awesome. (Aprox $13.00)
Drone – These guys are pretty popular right now. In fact, even the government has talked about needing drone pilots. Get them started with this drone. These range in price from $45 to over a $1000. We picked a moderate one that will be sure to get some use, but not feel like you have to take out a second mortgage.
We hope you have enjoyed this teen boy gift guide to help guide you to the perfect gift.

**Please don’t send us hate mail that girls would like these gifts too. AND, we also realize some boys won’t like these gifts. We are just recommending gifts our boys and their friends would enjoy.
great list!
The grenade is a horrible idea! LOL! People are way too paranoid and this will definitely cause trouble for you and your kid. But the rest of the list is teen-approved!
Carol, too funny!
I think this list is awesome! We live in the country and have a 13 year old boy, and things like skateboards don’t work when all your roads are dirt. Thanks for the ideas, and as long as you train your children in the safety of ALL weapons and the harm that they can do, a grenade for fun will do no harm. Today’s children can’t be sheltered, it is up to us as parents to teach if not they will learn it from fools on the internet and at school. Don’t mean to cause controversy on such a nice page.
Janna, You are very sweet. Sure appreciate such a thoughtful comment!
