A little summer vintage garden bench decor vignette using a DIY banner and lots of thrifted items.
Live in the sunshine, swin in the sea, drink in the wild air. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Our blog name may give it away, but we love the simple and the inexpensive.
Salvage Sister is my name and thrifting is my game. #thriftingqueenWe have this little gardening bench on our back patio…which was a bargain found at our local ReStore. I think in the end I paid $8 for it because it was pretty worn…little do they know I love worn!!!
To add some summer flair, I did this easy banner.

VINTAGE BENCH DECOR
Momma loves her thrift stores!
The only thing that wasn’t thrifted was the silver lantern I got at IKEA some time ago. Although, I did pick up a few additional IKEA lanterns at a thrift store too.
So first I’ll start off with the vintage picnic tin as it’s one of my favorites. You may have seen my love here: Vintage Picnic Tin Decor

Isn’t this long toolbox awesome? What a great find at our ReStore!
I can’t wait to add a few more goodies to this bench but for now, it’s coming together.
