A romantic picnic in the woods that uses what is around you for decorations.
Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” “If you live to be a hundred, I hope I live to be a hundred minus one day, so that I never have to live a day without you.” “The most important thing is, even when we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.” “You don’t spell it, you feel it,” said Pooh.
Today we are happy to share a project from an Instagram friend, Anna at Life Styled by Anna. Her Wyoming home is beautiful, pups are adorable, and she styles by shopping her home, a lot of times, which is awesome!
Recently, she shared this amazing picnic in the woods and agreed to share it with us for inspiration.
PICNIC IN THE WOODS
Her boyfriend’s parents own some land, with cabins, up in the mountains. On a recent trip, Anna wanted to surprise her guy with dinner in the woods.
Before she even left, she collected some items around the house: burlap sacks, cloth napkins, candles, etc to take up for the surprise!
When he was out on his dirt bike, she gathered up what she had and set out to make it a cozy dinner in the woods. She gathered a few more items from the cabins and used a free and amazing decoration – nature!
Once back, this was waiting for him. And really who wouldn’t be touched by such a beautiful gesture? We don’t think it hurt that grilled steaks, fire-roasted potatoes, and a green salad were on the menu either.
PICNIC USING WHAT YOU GOT
Not only is this charming, but it truly goes to show you that you can make something with what you have right in front of you.
- No need to make dinner reservations at a high-end restaurant to show love to someone.
- You don’t have to go to the store to buy a bunch of things you don’t need to entertain.
- You don’t have to cook all day long, and be exhausted, to prepare a meal.
Sometimes all you have in front of you is enough.
