Have you noticed a theme here? Yes, there are lots of “new to us” references on this site. By “salvage” we mean using up what you may normally throw away, what someone else doesn’t want, or using something in a whole new way.
Buying a used sink is just one of those ways!
We decided that the little sink in our kitchen would not be staying with us. We are HUGE kitchen users and the itty bitty sink would not work. We will send it off for someone else to love.
The “before” sink is super shallow. Very difficult doing dishes in!
Off to the ReStore we went. We found an $8 sink! Say what?
This picture was after it had been lightly cleaned. It had some dirt in it from sitting outside.
It has some minor scratches, but none that are really that noticeable. We spent another $11 on parts.

We are THRILLED with our “new to us” used sink. A new sink would have been at least $200. We were able to do it all for –
Kitchen Sink $8 (compared to new, like here, we say SCORE)
TOTAL – $164.00

So do you want to come over and do some dishes? We have a GREAT “iused” sink!
