Mason jars are an easy way to create a whole set of glasses on the cheap. Now, if you want to jazz them up a bit, have we got a sparkly craft for you.
This holiday mason jar drinking cup is a fun ladies craft night activity, to make and give as gifts, a teacher present, or a family fun activity. Customize them as you like. And, we think they would be great for your Christmas morning breakfast.
Also, although the image has a fun biodegradable holiday straw we highly recommend these reusable silicone straws for everyday use.

SUPPLIES
- 1 Mason Jar, with the lid ring/band
- Modge Podge
- Foam Paint Brush
- Glitter, in color of your choice (red used here)
- Tray
- Clear Mod Podge Spray Adhesive
- Foam Paper
- Pen, Pencil, or Marker
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Ribbon, a great time to use that leftover ribbon stash
- Straws (biodegradable holiday straws or reusable)
DIRECTIONS
- Start by painting the outside of your mason jar with a THIN layer of mod podge.
- Sprinkle with glitter, and let the remaining fall into a tray so you can pour it back into the container, and let dry.
- Repeat two to three times until you get the coverage you are looking for.
- Spray with clear adhesive and let dry.
- Trace your mason jar lid out on foam paper, and cut out with scissors.
- Punch a hole in the center of the lid cover with a hole punch.
- Replace the metal part of your mason jar lid with the foam.
- Screw on to the jar and add a straw.
- Wrap ribbon around the top.
There is no such think as sparkling too much.
