A feed bag Christmas door decoration is not only a great way to reuse an item in a new way but it’s also unique. Unique and reuse…these are a few of my favorite things.

Why fit in when you were born to stand out. – Dr Seuss
On the 9th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
Unless someone wants 9 ladies dancing, this might be the better gift here.
During the holidays, simplicity is the name of the game. Okay, any time of the year it is the name of my game!
I had this feed bag from a family member who recently downsized. I knew it would make a perfect door decoration…my version of a wreath.
DOOR DECORATION DESIGN TIPS
To fill-up the shape of the bottom of the bag I added brown paper from shipping boxes (cough..Amazon orders).
The thing with making an arrangement is to really fill it in – stuff it.
Make sure to stick to similar design types of floral picks.
Bend some items to have the appearance of falling “naturally”.
Finally, I added a small chalkboard sign to wish all that enter a very Merry Christmas!

Debra, Thanks so much. Easy peasy for sure!
I love the idea of this as opposed to a wreath. It is very creative and it looks amazing. I wish I had a family member who could give me a feed bag.
Michelle, Yeah, I was super excited they didn’t want their gag gift 🙂
This is fabulous, Deborah! I love out-of-the-ordinary ways of doing ordinary things and this is spot-on for a unique door decoration that blows the basic wreath right out of the water.
