Everything Bagel Party Dip
A bagel is a doughnut with the sin removed. – George Rosenbuam
Apparently, in the world of everything bagels, there is some controversy over who actually invented it. David Gussin of Queens believes he did and says,
“I was cleaning out the oven,” Gussin recalls. “I was sweeping out the seeds. Instead of throwing them out, I swept them out into a bin. The next day, I said to Charlie, ‘Hey, Charlie, instead of throwing them away, put this on a bagel and call it the “everything.”‘ – NPR
However, others state they were made before this time.
No matter, who created this amazing combination, we love the everything bagel blend and the thought that it was to avoid tossing some items out makes it even better!!! #salvagethat
