DIY Pumpkin Sugar Scrub
I can smell AUTUMN dancing in the breeze. The sweet chill of pupkins and crisp sunburnt leaves.
You may know by now, that fall is my favorite season. When we moved back to Oregon, after 15 years in Arizona, I couldn’t help but drive around and take in all the crisp air and colors of fall. I missed it sooooooooooo much!
If you love fall too, we think you will love this pumpkin sugar scrub project. Plus, it makes a great gift. So let’s get to it…

- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup coconut oil (Here is the one I used from Amazon)
- 1/2 tsp Vitamin E (Here is what I use from Amazon)
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (This is a great use for this spice as it usually just hangs out in the spice cabinet all alone after pie making is done.)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 airtight container (Since this mix has no preservatives, it is best to keep it in an airtight container, like this, for up to 3-4 weeks. Plus, these jars come in a 6 pack so it makes it great to make as a gift!)

Tip– Some people believe a sugar scrub is too harsh for the face. Since brown sugar has smaller crystals than white sugar, it is believed to be a more gentle exfoliant (our everyday life). As always, take necessary precautions for your skin. Consult your PSP or dermatologist for any additional information.
So how easy was that? Easy as pie…pumpkin pie 😉
