This DIY citrus cranberry simmering potpourri is a great way to make a home smell wonderful, naturally.
I love the smell of Christmas, along with all the lights. Logs fire in the fire place, on those cold winter nights. The smell of Christmas goodies, that are baked with tender care. The smell is the greatest, there’s nothing to compare. -Bernard Howe
Is there anything better than the smell of Christmas? The cookies, the cinnamon, evergreens, and more. It reminds us of all the season has to offer.
No need for artificial scents here. If you aren’t baking, you can still have a holiday scent in your home with this DIY citrus cranberry simmering potpourri.
All ingredients can be kept on hand throughout the holiday season to whip up the potpourri whenever needed.

Salvage Tips & More
Check the simmering potpourri often to keep the water level up. If all of the water evaporates and is not replaced, the potpourri will burn.
Citrus peels work just as well so no need to use a whole orange here. The peel has all the natural oils you will need.
You can change out the ingredients for different times of the year i.e. rosemary and lemon.
