Maybe in just a week, or next month, or in a year BUT at some point discouragement happens………..
The reality of practicing the guitar, instead of just knowing how to, is drudgery.
Going back to school, to get your degree, seems like it will take FOREVER!
Learning how to bake a soufflé means you have to face a failure or two.
It’s so easy to forget that we are just infants in this process.
But instead what do we start doing to ourselves?
But “Joe” can play guitar like Jimi Hendrix.
College seems to come easier to all these people in my class!
This is my third soufflé, why can’t I get it to turn out?
Or in the blogging world it’s……
Why don’t we have # amount of readers/followers?
Would we expect our child to be running at five months old? Of course not!
In anything we do, there is a process.
We have to learn to…
- Do you know what stage you are in right now?
- Now what stage are your expectations in?
- Do you need to make some adjustments?
Remember most people are going to have to learn how to crawl before they run so cut yourself a break. Celebrate each success….
I learned a new cord.
This is the hardest class I have ever taken.
I haven’t mastered the soufflé yet, but my omelets are the bombdiggity!
And don’t compare your journey to someone else’s. That’s the death sentence to your goals.
