OUR “NEW” FLOORING!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell us you have visited the Habitat for Humanity ReStore!
It is our home away from home now. We have lots of great deals from there……everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink (no joke)!
Anyways, we had this very interesting linoleum flooring in the laundry room/closet…
We love some retro but that’s even a little too much for us!
Off to the ReStore, we went.
We picked up this linoleum for $3 and the trowel for $1!!!!!!!!! The Mister had some glue already.
Not the best photo, but a $4 Flooring option none the less.
The picture was taken before it was cleaned but it is new linoleum.
Stay tuned for more updates on this laundry room makeover.

Looks so much cleaner with the light colored floor. I am actually working on a closet revamping at the moment myself and I need some floor. I never thought to check out Habitat! Thanks for the inspiration
: )
Jen, Just make sure to unroll the linoleum to make see if it’s a solid piece. The first one we got had a cutout in it so we had to go back.
How refreshing to know that there are still people who understand what it means to be grateful for what you have and not rush out to the store for the newest trend only to turn around 6 months later and throw it in the trash. Every time I drive through the dump, i am saddened to see the GOOD stuff people throw out! I LOVE to repurpose, reuse, and restore!! Not at all ashamed to say I’ve been a dumpster-diver since I was a little girl. My parents raised us (4 children) on a pastor’s salary; the good LORD always provided and taught me, through the hard financial times, to be grateful. Visit my Facebook page at Butterfly JunKtion. Would love to know what you think.
Kim, I (salvagesista) was a PK too (5 kids). Pk’s have to know how to make it the best with what they have huh? 🙂 Thanks so much for your comment!
