…..The kind you find in a second hand store.
Do you get it?
If not, I’m not sure we can be friends, just kidding! But do understand I (Salvage Sister) make up, and blurt out, song lyrics often around here. Like~
Okay, so all songs aside for a moment… and no this Blackberry Parfait is not from a second hand store, although you do know how we feel about second hand stores!
Part of the mission here at Salvage Sister & Mister is salvage your time. Meals planning, and preparing, take up a bunch of time so we are here with a quick and easy recipe-
BLACKBERRY PARFAIT
We are joining with some Oregon Bloggers to show a snippet of amazing things our state offers.
For us, one of the things we missed when we moved away was picking fresh blackberries on the side of the road. When we moved back, it is pure heaven!!!

Even if you don’t have fresh from the road, or fresh from the store, this “recipe” works well with frozen berries.
We hate to even classify this as a recipe, but just because something is simple, doesn’t mean that it isn’t wonderful, right? This has been in our breakfast rotation many times over the years. You can make it on the go or fancy.
INGREDIENTS

(1 serving size)
- 2 Yogurts (Coconut+Blackberry, Peach +Blackberry, Strawberry +Blackberry – think flavor combinations)
- 1 c. Berries (Mixture of berries can work as well….just keep in mind your overall profile.)
- 3/4 c. Granola (OREGON MADE!)
Add yogurt, then berries, then granola and repeat layers.
That’s it. We know, super complicated.
Actually, simple things can be over the top when combinations are done well and creatively. Go Master Chef on them!
We used a mason jar cause why wouldn’t you?
Wine glasses are fun too….so fancy!

I love the idea of using 2 different yogurt flavors to make the parfait!
Carissa,
Its really fun to play with the flavors. Sometimes zest is thrown in to. It’s fun to play with it.
That looks so good and so healthy! I wish we lived where we could pick some blackberries.
Alison, No blackberries where you are???? Oh no!!!
