A simple and easy breakfast, blackberry parfait.
Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet berries in a cup. – Wendell Berry
Blackberry parfait…the kind you find in a second-hand store.🎵
Do you get it?
If not, I’m not sure we can be friends, just kidding! But this is the way this Sister rolls… making up random lyrics to songs is my way of life.
Okay, so all songs aside for a moment, and no this Blackberry Parfait is not from a second-hand store, although I’m sure you do know how we feel about them, this is one easy and delicious breakfast.
Part of the mission here at Salvage Sister & Mister is to salvage your time. Meals planning, and preparing, take up a bunch of time so we are here with a quick and easy recipe, plus it’s reusing a mason jar.

BLACKBERRY PICKING
For us, one of the things we missed most when we moved away from Oregon was picking fresh blackberries on the side of the road. When we moved back, we now make sure we go out every summer. Here is more info on picking and flash freezing for the year: Blackberry Picking Tips

- 3/4 c. Granola
PARFAIT DIRECTIONS
-1 serving size
- Add yogurt to a mason jar
- Top yogurt with some granola
- Add a layer of berries and top with a little jam if desired.
- Repeat layers.
That’s it. We know, super complicated, right?.
Actually, simple things can be over the top when combinations are done well and creatively.
We used a mason jar cause why wouldn’t you?
We have also used wine glasses.…so fancy!
