: to rescue or save especially from wreckage or ruin
Welcome Salvage Friends,
We are thrilled to have you!
The site is to assist you in salvaging the most with what you have.
- DIY USING SALVAGED MATERIALS
- UPCYCLE (CRAFTS AND PROJECTS)
- HOME DESIGN USING WHAT YOU OWN
- RECIPES TO ELIMINATE FOOD WASTE
- ENJOYING THE LIFE YOU ALREADY HAVE
Our passion is to learn contentment with the things we have already (Phillippians 4:11-13).
It is a desire to take care of the things we own by purchasing responsibly (Ps 24:1).
It’s a passion to be good stewards of our finances (Luke 16:10-12).
What you won’t find here: PERFECT!
We are just trying to make the best with what we have and sharing that with others.
Often in life, we end up with two choices~
A) Fight, wish, dream, consider others lucky, envy, etc – OR
B) Work around, do, make happen, salvage
Which do you want?
BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED!
We have two sons…..
Our oldest is away at college.
Our youngest is currently in high school, online. You can read more about our adoption story HERE.
We have been married for over 22 years and now live in beautiful Southern Oregon (previously Phoenix, AZ).
